Everyone is trying to get their piece of the pie. Well, some people want the whole pie. Or if you’re like this man, you’re trying to give an entire pie away to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger. During Arsenal’s 4-0 win EFL Cup third round win at Nottingham Forest, this individual invaded the pitch and tried to give Wenger a pastry food item.
Unfortunately for him, and perhaps fortunately for everyone else, he was stopped by the Gunners coaching staff, and then taken away by security.
Here's you're man here, not an employee of ours unfortunately. #MissedOpportunity pic.twitter.com/yhv8y8ITrO

If Arsene Wenger can’t have that pie, well I guess no one can, as the man left it behind.

And thus #PieGate ended in a whimper, as it appears no one had the chance to enjoy this potentially delicious dish- not you, not Wenger, not the guy who brought it, not me, not anybody.
