The PFA Team of the Year has been selected for 2018-19 and Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is a very surprising inclusion. The Frenchman has had a very up-and-down season, putting up productive numbers overall, but often disappearing at the times that United need him the most.
Pogba, who clearly had a major rift with former manager Jose Mourinho, found himself often benched as the Portugese’s reign at United was coming to an end. Once Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over however, he was reborn and, for awhile at least, showcased the kind of form that is commensurate to his price tag. 
Lately though he’s essentially been a no show and he hasn’t looked all that interested.
Pogba is the only player not from Liverpool or Manchester City to make the team as the Citizens led the way with six players selected while the Reds placed four. There were of course a lot of snubs as third place Tottenham Hotspur, fourth place Chelsea and fifth place Arsenal landed nobody.
There are plenty of individual snubs to go over, but Eden Hazard, who won PFA Player of the Year in 2014-15, is probably the biggest one.
