Emily Rogawski, that’s Emily Rogawski, not actress/model/A-lister Emily Ratajkowski, won the world football internet this weekend. She’s an American student from New York City who moved to England, and she’s a huge fan of Chelsea FC and the United States National Team.

She had really elite seats at Goodison Park for Manchester United’s draw at Everton, an event she attended sporting her Chelsea jacket.

The cameras caught her, and once the world became aware of her photogenic traits social media was off and running.

People became enchanted by Rogawski due to her looks and their being perplexed by her wearing a Blues overcoat to a Red Devils-Toffees clash.

Doesn’t seem weird to me at all, I wore my USMNT kit to Liverpool-Watford in May, and my Manchester United jersey to the Old Trafford home finale that I attended and then evacuated. Yes, I was at the bomb scare game, but enough about me because you don’t care, you’re hear for more on Emily Rogawski.

The point is, I totally get it. You love your team, and you support your team, but you also love the beautiful game so you want to attend any match you can, but you’re not going to betray your rooting interest. (Just like I wasn’t going to harm my own self-interests, and by that I mean I wasn’t going to put myself in harm’s way by wearing MUFC regalia at Anfield)

Rogawski broke Twitter, broke Instagram, two platforms where she really has a tremendously sized following, it’s easy to see why, and then her story spread like wildfire. The blogs picked up on it, as did the British dailies and here we are.
