Jose Mourinho is at it again. It’s what we’ve come to expect from him and his press conference are often pretty funny. The Chelsea Manager finally got his first home win of the 2015-16 campaign as the Blues routed Maccabi Tel Aviv 4-0 in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League group stage.
Mourinho acknowledged how good it felt to win again while also addressing all the criticism that he’s been receiving lately from both media and fans alike.
“I forgot the feeling. For so long we don’t win a game, so good, a good feeling,” Mourinho said.
“I am a fantastic manager when I win matches and I am a fantastic manager when I lose matches.”
On the critics Mourinho said:
“I prefer that than they say ‘Mourinho out’ and they boo me and so on It shows they don’t read papers or they don’t have short memories. If they don’t read papers they support me. If they don’t have short memories, they support me.”
“We won four Premier Leagues, three with him and one with his team. This guy is not bad. Let’s support the guy. We have a chance to win the fifth.”
Earlier this week, Jose Mourinho got into an entertainingly antagonistic back and forth with a reporter. The Special One called the reporter’s questions stupid and said that he needed to use Google.
