Chelsea FC Starting XI Prediction vs RB Salzburg

No fixture congestion for Chelsea FC this week! Due to security needs for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, the Premier League match of the week, Chelsea’s hosting Liverpool, has been called off. And that means when Graham Potter begins his time in charge, he’ll be able to do so under slightly less pressure.

He can fixate on RB Salzburg, and pick his strongest side that he thinks will beat them, instead of having to approach this match with one eye on the weekend clash. Let’s preview!

Of the reasons that got Thomas Tuchel sacked, his failure to find a consistent source of goals was right at the top of the list. He loved wing backs, and really fancied the notion of making anybody and everybody a wing back. His critics on social media referred to his coaching and his brand of ball as the Tucheliban, and well, his reign of terror is now over.

And he left Potter with the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Kai Kavertz, Raheem Sterling, Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech in which to find a scoring punch. We’ll see how it all goes on Wednesday night against RB Salzburg.
