It’s the Spurs and Foxes in Premier League action this weekend. It’s a clash between two sides with very contrasting fortunes so far in the 22/23 campaign. Despite their loss to Sporting Lisbon in Champions League, Spurs still have an impressive league record. Tottenham sits in third place, rubbing shoulders with the crème de la crème of the Premier League. Leicester is having a wretched run.
Brendan Rodgers’ side is dead last in the league, and the sack is looming for BR. There is hope for Leicester City. And bear with me Foxes fans, I promise there is a positive here.
Spurs have won seven of their last nine against Leicester. This includes their current run of three wins in a row. In their long history, Tottenham has never beaten Leicester four times in a row.
So there’s a chance.

Starting XI Prediction
I don’t think there will be many surprises in the Spurs line up for this match. I think the entire left-hand side might get changed out, though. Clement Lenglet is an upgrade on Ben Davies, no matter what way you look at it. Ivan Perisic is too old to be playing a game every three days, so Ryan Sessegnon comes in for him. Finally, Heung min-son is in awful form, and Richarlison looks dangerous every time he is on the field.
GK: Lloris
CB: Romero, Dier, Lenglet
WB: Emerson, Sessegnon
CM: Bentancur, Hojbjerg
ATT: Kulusevski, Kane, Richarlison
Match Prediction
I can only see this going one way. This will be the first time that Spurs defeat Leicester for the fourth consecutive league fixture, in history. Sorry to get your hopes up, Foxes fans, just to shoot you down in the prediction.
Maybe find something else to do Saturday afternoon, coz this one is going to be a bloodbath.
Tottenham 9-0
