Saturday’s result conveyed the idea that Newcastle may just be ahead of United in their rebuild. Looking forward to Wednesday, there is no real United Team News to speak of. The same players who were unavailable against the Magpies -Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez, Mason Mount, Jonny Evans, Christian Eriksen, Jadon Sancho (the only one on this list out for disciplinary reasons, everyone else is injured), Amad Diallo- will be again be unavailable here.
