It’s only 29 hours until the closure of the summer transfer window, so Chelsea FC will have to most fast in order to get their last minute deals done. The primary name today is Fernando Llorente, and Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is reportedly confident that he’ll acquire the Swans forward for half the price that he originally expected.

Metro writes that: “confident of completing a bargain move for Swansea City striker Fernando Llorente before the summer transfer window closes.”

Matt Law of the Daily Telegraph writes that this deal could get done today, one day ahead of the window shutting.

Llorente scored 15 times for Swansea City last season, having come over from Sevilla in the previous summer. The 32-year-old striker has worked with Conte before, at Juventus, so this should be move that works out great for the Blues, as they get additional support to back up Alvaro Morata.

The only hold up, per AS, is the Welsh club wanting to secure their own deal for Wilfried Bony from Manchester City as Llorente’s replacement. So there’s a bit of a domino theory in action here as we race toward’s the window’s 11th hour.
