Urban Meyer is headed to the Orange Bowl versus Clemson. But you already knew that. You knew that last night after Michigan State upset the Buckeyes by 10. Exactly ten as I predicted on Tuesday. OSU entered as 5.5 favorites to win and advance to the national title game in the Rose Bowl Stadium versus Florida State. It’s the second time in recent memory that MSU has ruined Ohio State’s season/national title hopes.

In 1998, Bill Burke, Sedrick Irvin and Plaxico Burress upset the Bucks at The Shoe, ruining their perfect season. Urban Meyer wasn’t a part of that. But he was a part of this cold Papa John’s pizza.

Yes, in the bowels of the house that Peyton Manning built you have Urban Meyer gnoshing on the same pizza endorsed by Peyton. And owned by a right-wing extremist billionaire. Papa John’s for Urban Meyer.

A chance to play for the national title for Auburn.

A Rose Bowl for MSU; their first BCS appearance ever.

Here was the mood in the other locker room of the of the other Big Ten title game participants. I shot these behind the scenes pictures of Michigan State on the field/in the locker room. And these videos of the players dancing with the Amos Alonzo Stagg trophy and the Spartan flag to Yo Gotti’s “Act Right.”

Sorry Urban Meyer. Credit the pic to Patrick Brennan of Buckeye Sports.
