For Michigan State, the party, Sparty party, in on. In the videos below, I catch the college football team in the locker room, post Big Ten title game victory. Some behind the scene, all-access stuff here. This year’s Michigan State University football slogan in “Chase it.” The 2011 slogan was “P4RB: Prepare for Rose Bowl,” now it’s here. Guess it’s coincidental, and fitting, that “Chase it” concluded in Indy. the tallest building in Indianapolis in Chase Tower.

Michigan State last went to the Rose Bowl in 1988, the famous Spartans vs Trojans War, as MSU defeated USC 14-10.

Michigan State was a 5.5 point underdog, but won by ten. EXACTLY AS I PREDICTED ON TUESDAY

Yes Michigan State football is headed to it’s first Rose Bowl in 26 years, after winning a “game of runs,” to put it in college basketball terms. After all, Tom Izzo was there and he brought his MSU hoops team with him.

Michigan State scored the first 17 points of the game, OSU the next 24, and Michigan State football finished it off with the next 17, to prevail 34-24.

Here are the photos from the Michigan State locker room and the Michigan State postgame on the field.
