Manchester United have a very long injury list, ahead of their league fixture with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday. Kobbie Mainoo, Marcus Rashford and Karl Darlow all have unspecified/undisclosed injury problems, and they’re all in the 50/50 category (more or less) to make the matchday squad here.

We could also see the United debut of summer signing Carlos Baleba, who should finally be passed fit to feature in this one. Meanwhile Amad Diallo is expected to make his season debut here, after shaking off the long-term ankle injury that’s been plaguing him.
However, the news isn’t as good for Patrick Dorgu, who suffered a hamstring injury while on international duty with Denmark. He’s unlikely to make the squad here; ditto for Benjamin Sesko, who has seen his shin injury problem flare up again.
Defender Noussair Mazraoui is also a doubt, having picked up a lower back injury. And then finally, Matthijs de Ligt, Thomas Heaton and Manuel Ugarte all remain sidelined as longer-term injury absentees.
Like we said, United’s injury list is very long right now.
Obviously, this has a lot to do with why they’re currently mid-table right now, which is highly disappointing, considering they finished third last season.
