A new study, commissioned by the CIES Football Observatory, estimates the transfer market values of team rosters and ranks them. Tottenham Hotspur came in second twice as they have both the second most valuable squad in football, worth €1.17 billion, and the beautiful game’s second most valuable player in Harry Kane.
The 23-year-old English striker came in with a valuation of €185.6 million behind only Neymar, who left Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain on a 222 million Euro deal this summer.
Only Manchester City are deemed more valuable than Spurs, coming in at €1.2 billion.
Dele Alli, who plays alongside Harry Kane for both club and country, ranks as the third most valuable player in Europe at €181.7 million, while Christian Eriksen (€104.9 million) and Heung Son-Min (€67.5 million) round out the Tottenham top four.
