Liverpool FC midfielder Adam Lallana will still be out with a groin injury this Saturday when the Reds take on Sunderland. Lallana suffered the setback while on duty with England during the international break. How will Manager Jurgen Klopp adjust his line-up?
Well, here’s what we went with for our Liverpool FC starting XI prediction for this one.
Last week we saw Emre Can and Georginio Wijnaldum seemingly get in each other’s way at times, but it was also the first extended period of time that the two played together.
This could be a game that Liverpool switches their line-up a bit and play the likes of a Lucas, Kevin Stewart or Marko Grujic, especially with a League Cup quarterfinal on Tuesday, but Klopp is still expected to go with Jordan Henderson, Can and Wijnaldum at mid.
Earlier this season Lallana made his 100th appearance at LFC in the October 22nd contest versus West Bromwich Albion. Only 201 other Reds have ever the century club for games played.
After two seasons with Southampton and an international breakthrough, Adam Lallana joined Liverpool from Saints for £25 million in the summer of 2014.
