Kristin Cavallari, Jay Cutler’s wife, taken into police custody

Kristin Cavallari – wife of Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler – claims she was taken into custody by Chicago police this morning. The “crime?” Having a driver’s license from the incorrect state. In order to be freed, Kristin Cavallari had to post bail.

Kristin Cavallari tweeted today: “Who knew having a California driver’s license in Illinois was a CRIME to be escorted to the police station to post bail?!! What a morning.”

The former MTV “reality star,”  an oxymoron if there ever was one. Did not tweet about why she was stopped in the first place. Or what she said/did to the police during the routine traffic stop. In other words, what was Kristin Cavallari doing that set them off?

In Illinois, you are required to have an IL driver’s license once you have lived in the state for 90 days. Non-compliance results in CITATION.

And remember Kristin Cavallari was not ARRESTED, she was CITED

Kristin Cavallari tweeted about the driver’s license law saying: “I still have an apartment in LA so I’m a resident of California.”
