Move over creator of “Hastily Made Cleveland Tourism Video 2,” Cleveland has a new web 2.0 sensation. It’s the person behind Twitter account @LeBronsElbow. Yes, the much discussed and over-analyzed elbow of Cleveland superstar LeBron James is now Twittering, and it has over 9,000 followers as of Sunday night May 9th. Not bad for a mere body part. It also has a Facebook page too.
LeBrons Elbow’s Facebook page has over 500 friends and a personal statement reading: “When life gives you lemons, go watch Law & Order.”
Sound advice. The elbow tweeted an explanation of the Cavs’ game four loss at Boston, in which the elbow struggled going just 7-18 from the field:
“Sorry guys. Rondo out elbowed THE Elbow. There might have been a pact with the devil pre-game, I can’t be sure. Crap, here comes the ice.”
It also got into the holiday spirit with a special Mother’s Day tweet:
“I know this probably doesn’t help, but LeBron’s Mom just bare azz spanked the entire team… including a very frightened ball boy.”
The elbow also clearly knows how to party:
“Shaq just walked in the club with a Bald eagle and Little Richard… this is gunna be a fun night.”
