Liverpool come into Saturday’s FA Cup tie in poor form, going 1-3-3 in their seven games in 2017.
The Reds have sorely missed Sadio Mane, whose pace on the outside was key to their potent attack. With Adam Lallana forced into a new role and Philippe Coutinho still working his way back to 100 percent fitness, Liverpool has struggled to score at the rate they did in December.
Update: here is the link to our Liverpool starting XI prediction against Wolves
They have a chance to gain so momentum back on Saturday against Wolverhampton Wolves, leading into a big PL game against Chelsea on Tuesday.
The good news for Liverpool is there isn’t much injury doubt. Marko Grujic would have been in contention to start on Saturday, but is still out with an injured hamstring.
Nathaniel Clyne will most likely also be out with sore ribs.
While the rest of the line-up will be available for selection, it will more than likely be the youngsters that get their shot on Saturday.
ODDS: Liverpool has 3/10 odds to win according to SkyBet, with Wolves getting 17/2 odds for a win. SkyBet has the odds for a draw at 17/4.
Predicted result: 1-0 Liverpool.
