With the Chicago Cubs playing in Game 6 of the World Series tonight, we felt it time to revisit and re-publish our article covering the day and night that Harry Kane and Tottenham Hotspur spent with the Chicago Cubs. They were the guests of honor that afternoon and evening.
Here is the article:
Harry Kane met the media in Chicago tonight following the 2 nil triumph over the Chicago Fire in a preseason friendly between the MLS and Premier League. Kane scored the first goal assisted by Lewis Holtby. Aaron Lennon tallied the second with an assist from Roberto Soldado.
In the media session I asked Kane, (KANER!!!, people reading this in Chicago will get that joke, no one outside of Chicago probably will) about meeting Cubs All-Star Anthony Rizzo, National League leader in home runs.
Here’s my question and answer below in video
Tottenham got to take in a game with the Chicago Cubs. They were guests of honor at Wrigley Field. Here is the photo collection.
Twenty year old forward Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur threw out a ceremonial first pitch the other night at Wrigley Field before the Cubs took on the San Diego Padres.
He, along with Michael Dawson, also exchanged shirts with MLB All-Star Anthony Rizzo.
