Twenty year old forward Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur threw out a ceremonial first pitch tonight at Wrigley Field before the Chicago Cubs of MLB took on the San Diego Padres. The event is leading up to Spurs’ international friendly against the Chicago Fire at Toyota Park Saturday, July 26.

He, along with Michael Dawson, also exchanged shirts with MLB All-Star Anthony Rizzo.

The north London side held a competition at their Training Centre that involved pitching balls at targets to determine who would throw the ceremonial first pitch.

Harry Kane made his way through the youth teams at Tottenham Hotspur before making his senior debut for Tottenham on 25 August 2011 in the Europa Cup. Kane has represented England at U17, U19, U20 & U21 levels. Eddie Vedder, of Pearl Jam fame, will lead the 7th inning stretch that night.
