Sunday is typically the biggest day for transfer rumors, but on this Sunday we have some actual transfer news. It’s not gossip or hearsay but actual confirmation of a done deal, and it comes via the club itself.

Aliou Traore is on his way to Manchester United, with the news being broken via a write-up on the club’s official page, and then tweeted out by their verified Twitter account. Traore is a French midfielder who turns 17 in January.

“Traore is a boy we’ve been looking at for a while. He is a really powerful midfielder who likes to run box to box. He is very strong technically and is improving all the time,” Kieran McKenna, United’s U18s told MUTV, the club video web channel.

“He’s a nice man and his English is improving. He’s settling in well with the boys and has taken to the club really well.”
