With three matches this week, expect to see some regular first team Manchester United players get some rest tomorrow against Wigan Athletic in the fifth round of the FA Cup. The team is pretty much at full strength, fitness wise now as they’ll get some reinforcements to their back line.
Left back Luke Shaw might return to action after miss the last dozen due to a dozen game absence (groin injury). Also, central defender Eric Bailly is back from the Africa Cup of Nations.
Said United Manager Jose Mourinho in previewing this match:
“Now we go home and have to prepare again. We will change some players and give some opportunities, some fresh legs to the team and, hopefully, we can do it.”
