The stakes just could not be any higher as Liverpool FC welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Merseyside tomorrow in a match featuring two sides that need every single point possible in the final run in. For the hosts, seven games remain in their quest to claim the club’s first league title since 1990 (that’s before the Premier League era began).

For the visitors, eight games are left as the north London side hopes to secure a top three finish for the fourth season in a row. The two sides have 53 times in Premier League play, with 24 Liverpool wins, 14 Spurs victories and 15 draws.
