According to the Sunday Telegraph, the future of Jose Mourinho is hanging in the balance after Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich watched in horror as the champions crashed to another defeat at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
In other words, we’ll have another consistent stream of “Will Chelsea FC sack manager Jose Mourinho or not?” and “When will Mourinho get sacked?” stories this week.
So brace yourself for that. Falling 1-0 to newly promoted Bournemouth at home is pretty embarrassing, and it left Chelsea in 14th place in the Premier League table; having accrued just 15 points.
Of course, Mourinho did recently sign a lucrative contract extension. However, it appears that the West London side might be okay with a big expensive buyout, if needs be.
