As a Coach, you’re supposed to go to bat for your guys. It’s part of the job description. So you got to applaud Notre Dame football Brian Kelly on this one.

He truly believes in the two quarterbacks on his roster. Maybe a little bit too much. Of all the teams that Kelly could have named in his comparison, he picked the one team that….just have a watch below:

Only Brian Kelly knows for sure if that’s just giving lip service, or if it’s what he truly believes in his heart and mind. Of course, Braxton Miller and J.T. Barrett have won Big Ten Player of the Year awards. Add in the third signal caller, Cardale Jones, is the one who actually won the Big Ten title, Sugar Bowl and the National Championship for them.

Of course, he only has two, while the Buckeyes have three.

Malik Zaire arrived with authority in the Music City Bowl, but it was just one game. Everett Golson had a good first half of the season, and it will be really interesting to see how the QB controversy/position battle etc. plays out this summer and into the fall in South Bend.
