You’ve had plenty of Lebron James talk lately. Likely too much. We’ve heard enough about his move from the Miami Heat to the Cleveland Cavaliers. But here’s a video in which Lebron talks about something completely different.
The year that he moved from the Cavs to the Heat, King James and his marketing firm, LRMR, partnered with Boston based Fenway Sports Management. It’s the group led billionaire John W. Henry. The deal netted James an additional seven-figure financial windfall, and he a stake in Liverpool FC.
That’s right Lebron James is an investor in Liverpool, which is owned by Fenway Sports Group.
The marketing partnership created a host of new opportunities for James, particularly in Asia, where Liverpool has a huge following. Because of his connection to the Reds, Lebron James gained even more endorsement deals.
In this video below, shot just the other day in Rio, Lebron talked about LFC, futbol and the World Cup.
