I’m still reeling from the fact that the SyFy movie Sharknado really exists. Sharknado took over Twitter for a couple days, and for good reason. It has Tara Reid after all. But what about Sharknado combined with Northwestern tailback and return specialist Venric Mark? The leading returning rusher in the Big Ten and major special teams home run threat is dangerous to opposing defenses like a sharknado.
Venric Mark as ‘Marknado’
Some Wildcats’ students got together and released a video on YouTube that displays Mark’s best highlights from 2012, while showing clips from Sharknado. This is not a drill. And this was not created by the school. I have spoken to Northwestern Sports Information about this video and they did not create it.
It’s still pretty awesome nonetheless.
Mark, or should I say, Marknado was a first-team All-American punt returner last season, putting up a 18.7 yards per return average and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 1,366 yards and 12 TDs.
If you’re watching things like this and reading posts like these, then I’m sure you’ll agree, it’s REALLY TIME for some football.
Or the Sharknado sequel.
