Manchester United look to make it nine wins from nine under caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer when they host Burnley FC Tuesday night. What Solskjaer has been able to do is nothing short of astounding, as the Red Devils are on the verge of matching Jose Mourinho’s 2016-17 side for putting together a winning streak that has not been seen since the Sir Alex Ferguson era.

Prior to the last outing, a 3-1 win at Arsenal in the FA Cup 4th round, Solskjaer showed his team some videos of himself in his playing days. The former striker was known as the “baby faced assassin” in those days, and footage of his prolific counter-attacks helped inspire United to victory.

Manchester City Starting XI Prediction vs Burnley FC (FA Cup 4th Round)

Manchester City had their proverbial day off kind of match this week already. Pep Guardiola played the kids in the midweek EFL Cup win at Burton Albion Wednesday night, and now City will take on Chelsea in that tournament’s final match at Wembley Stadium. Now the attention shifts to the other domestic cup where, they’ll host Burnley FC in the fourth round tomorrow.

“Always I try to name a strong team,” Guardiola said at his news conference today. “This is the FA Cup against a Premier League team, Burnley. We are going to go with the strongest team to win the game.”

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has promised to field a strong side for tomorrow’s FA Cup fourth round clash at home against Burnley FC. That’s bad news for the Clarets, who reside just above the drop zone in the Premier League table right now.

They’ll face a City side that will feature none of the academy players who dispatched Burton in Wednesday night’s EFL Cup semi-final. Burnley will obviously be massive underdogs in this one, as they take on a City side that is nearing full-fitness.
