Detroit Tigers Give Prince Fielder 9 Years, $214 Million

The Detroit Tigers have agreed t0 terms with 3-time All-Star 1B Prince Fielder on a 9-year, $214 million deal (multiple reports via SportsCenter tweet)

So there you go- the Milwaukee Brewers will officially be Princeless this year. But you knew that already. The signs were obvious. And the Tigers are now the hands-down favorite in both the AL Central and the American League in general. In fact, they’re likely to be #1 in all spring training MLB power rankings now.
