Sir Alex Ferguson will reportedly influence Van Gaal decision

There’s a very interesting story in today’s edition of the Daily Mirror regarding Sir Alex Ferguson and the job status of Louis van Gaal. The narrative in the publication states:

“Sir Alex Ferguson is helping decide Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United fate having met executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and former chief executive David Gill for emergency talks at Old Trafford on Sunday.”

Not sure what a great idea that would be given what happened with Fergie’s “The Chosen One” David Moyes.

(UPDATE: United to beef up security around Louis van Gaal)

If Van Gaal is to get the sack, then you would undoubtedly have to label him a flop. Not as much of a flop as Moyes, but a flop nonetheless. This would mean that the last two managers after Ferguson were total flops then. Of course, who needs to wait for a decision on Van Gaal’s fate or to gain the input of Sir Alex Ferguson when Twitter has already determined that for us! *Sarcasm font*

Yes, Twitter has already deemed Van Gaal’s employment to be terminated several times today. Many media personalities are having a lot of fun with that. Here are some of the better Tweets:

Twitter has sacked van Gaal. Congratulations.

Van Gaal guff similar to that time an attention-seeking commentator said United had bid for Harry Kane. Twitter believed that one, too.

BREAKING: Louis van Gaal has been sacked but he's unable to leave the building as he keeps passing sideways & backwards through the doors.
