Not only did the Chicago Blackhawks clinch first in the Central Division Friday night, but they completed a regular season sweep of the hated rival Detroit Red Wings. The Blackhawks will finish the regular season 4-0-0 against the Red Wings. They are 14-0-1 against everyone else in their division, with only the St. Louis Blues stealing a point from them.
The fans of the Madhouse wouldn’t leave disappointed as Jonathan Toews scored his twentieth goal of the season to tie it up in the third, and Brandon Saad won it in the shootout. Crawford made several clutch saves in the shootout as well.
