Barcelona Center-Back Gerard Pique showed up for a Champions League game dressed like a cast member of “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” for some reason. The Barca defender arrived at his home stadium with Paris Saint-Germain wearing this questionable jumper. And was perhaps ready to chop down the mightiest tree in the forest with….a herring.
Or to at least bring the Knights who say “Nee!” a shrubbery.
There have been rumors that Pique was coming back to his former team, Manchester United. There have been also rumors that Chelsea is very interested too. If he does sign a new contract, hopefully his new benefactor will pay him enough money that he can quit his night job: jousting and performing at Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament.
Yes, the internet is having a ton of fun at the expense of Gerard Pique today, but he truly opened himself up for this.
