Cardiff City have officially completed the signing of Mats Moller Daehli from Molde. The former Manchester United youngster turned down a return to the Red Devils, according to The Independent. Daehli is reunited with his former manager, becoming the second Norwegian player to join the Bluebirds. Lots of transfer news involving connections between Cardiff City and United today. By the way, United’s 2-0 defeat over Swansea City just went final.
Full-back Fabio is rumored to be on loan until the end of the season.
And there are unconfirmed and unverified reports that Wilfried Zaha is in Cardiff; looking to seal a deal which would put him on loan from the Reds. Back to Daehli, the 18-year-old is reunited with new Bluebirds manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who recruited him for the Norwegian club last summer after spending nearly three years in Manchester United’s youth system. Solskjaer described Daehli last fall as “on a par with Adnan Januzaj.”

The youngster becomes Cardiff’s second signing of the January window, following countryman Magnus Wolff Eikrem, who made his debut off the bench in Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at home by West Ham.
Daehli is one of Norwegian football’s top talents and has already made two appearances for the national team.
