Manchester United receive strong boos from Old Trafford

Manchester United did absolutely nothing at all in the second half of their UEFA Champions League tie with PSV Eindhoven tonight. The final result was 0-0, yet another goalless draw in a season that’s been filled with them. We’ve seen lots of dull tedium from United this season, and this was about as dull and tedious as it gets.

Hence all the strong boos that reigned down from the Old Trafford crowd. Deservedly so, as United would have been into the knockout round of Champions League with a victory, but instead could only muster up a draw.

Here’s Twitter chronicling all the strong boos that Manchester United received from their own fans and the Theatre of dreams.

Boos all around Old Trafford. I'd boo too. Imagine playing money to watch that rubbish

Would you have joined in the booing? Vote here.

Boos at Old Trafford as Manchester United fail to score against PSV. We can hear Paul Scholes clearing his throat already….

Indeed the fans booing Manchester United actually became the story of the match. Because there’s always a natural debate about whether or not one should boo. Is it right? Again vote here in the twitter poll below:

Loud and prolonged boos at the Old Trafford after full time.
Would you join in with those booing if you were at OT?
