Supporters of different clubs may disagree on a lot, but they can often agree on the enjoyment found in mocking Arsenal fan and media pundit Piers Morgan. Twitter users love ripping Morgan as much as the controversial columnist and talking head loves drawing attention to himself.
Piers Morgan is an expert troll who stirs up debate in many arenas, but most often in sports and politics. Today, he made an odd claim that Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah, crowned PFA Player of the Year on Sunday, is a more complete footballer right now than even Cristiano Ronaldo was during his time at Manchester United.
Salah's a more complete player than Ronaldo was at United. https://t.co/ljQ1xM54Gw

Morgan’s statement was essentially a doubling down of sorts on his earlier claim that Salah is the best Premier League player he’s seen since former Arsenal forward Thierry Henry in 2007.
I absolutely do. Thierry left in 2007 & Salah’s the best player I’ve seen since then in the PL. https://t.co/3DdpI6h9El

The Ronaldo vs. Salah remark has drawn more than 3,400 comments, and the discussion is only getting warmed up. Here are some of the better responses, hitting Piers Morgan with the hot facts. Here’s a response from a Liverpool supporter, followed by an answer from a United fan.

Disrespectful comparing a tap in merchant to a guy that won it all in England….. PL, CL e.t.c and was Ballon d'Or winner.. all by the age of 23 !

Here’s an interesting statistical projection:
“Wait another season….” or another 16 ??? not even in Ronaldo’s league when he was 23 years old at united winning PFA player, champions league, prem and Ballon d’Or all in the 08 season never mind when he moved to Madrid and got even better ???? pic.twitter.com/6cCNCsjuPk
