High scoring striker Luis Suarez could be leaving Liverpool this summer transfer window. Real Madrid, one of the biggest clubs in the world is quite keen on him. And now Real Boss Carlo Ancelotti has stepped up the pursuit with a bigger dollar figure.
Or Luis Suarez could be staying put at Anfield. Cue up the timeless Clash hit song “Should I stay or should I go now?”
Let’s look at both sides of the Luis Suarez coin.
As reported by the Mirror‘s David Maddock, Suarez told Uruguayan TV station Canal 10 he wants his family to remain happy in Liverpool:
“Don’t worry, nothing is going to happen to me.
“I’m very happy here and my family is happy here. If we could win the Premier League and bring the trophy home it would be incredible, a dream come true.”
Suarez won this year’s PFA Player of the Year award. The Uruguayan had one of the best goal scoring seasons in Premier League history, and with that comes a huge boost in value on the open market. Ancelotti green lit an offer to Suarez that would be £250,000-a-week says the Daily Mirror. Enough to lure him away from Anfield?
