Liverpool FC will be without the services of a cadre of players when they host Toulouse in a Europa League group stage fixture on Thursday night. Cody Gakpo, Andy Robertson, Ben Doak and Stefan Bajcetic could all miss out here. Will Thiago Alcantara also be sidelined?

Well, of course Thiago will be sidelined! His absence is the one thing you can always count on in a Liverpool FC Team News/Injury Report article. Now let’s go into details.

Team News for Both Sides

We’ll start with Robo, who is still recovering from the shoulder surgery that was required to fix the injury he suffered while playing for Scotland last international break. Gakpo could actually be in contention here, but he may not risked, and instead saved for the next domestic fixture on the weekend. He’s missed the last three matches with a knee injury.

Doak (unspecified muscular issue), Bajcetic (calf) and Thiago (long-term hip injury) are ruled out.

For Toulouse, Zakaria Aboukhlal and Oliver Zanden are both as long-term injury absentees while Ibrahim Cissoko moves closer to a return, but is a strong doubt here.
