The Football Association is looking into the massive post Manchester Derby brawl that some reports claim involved 20 people in total. The post match Old Trafford tunnel melee made massive international news as people still speculate on what really happened there.

Depending on the response that the FA receives from Manchester United and Manchester City, they may turn their inquest into an investigation. ESPN FC writes that the FA:

“has written to Manchester United and Manchester City to seek their observations over the tunnel bust-up at the end of Sunday’s clash at Old Trafford…As a result, the FA has given both clubs until 6 p.m. GMT on Wednesday, Dec. 13, to respond. The FA can seek CCTV footage from the tunnel area should they opt to pursue an investigation.”

Supposedly, the fracas began with United Manager Jose Mourinho going over to the City dressing room to gripe about the visitors being too loud in their celebrations. This led to a confrontation with City goalkeeper Ederson, and Mourinho allegedly had milk and water poured on him.

Manchester City coach Mikel Arteta suffered a cut above his eye, and it’s been widely reported that United striker Romelu Lukaku has involved as well.
