Super Bowl 2012 Early Favorite: Patriots or Giants?

It’s Super Bowl time! Two most storied franchises in NFL history: the New York Giants and New England Patriots are set to square off. The Patriots are the dynasty team of the 2000s in football, winning it all in 2001, 2003 and 2004. Yet they’re still the Boston sports team with the longest title drought- crazy fact isn’t it?

The Giants also have three Super Bowl titles: 1986, 1990 and 2007. They’ve been around a lot longer than the Pats so they also have four more NFL championships from the pre-Super Bowl era.

Now is the time when we all start working- overtime. All the sports bloggers, the best football reporters, the most aggressive marketers, the best online sportsbooks, the top brand managers, the “man food” industry, and the sports media in general- now’s the time when we really go to work.

And it’s fun work. So who ya’ got? Patriots or Giants? A rematch of 2007, the evil genius Bill Belichick who won two of the three Giants Super Bowl rings as a Defensive Coordinator, now leading the way for New England attempting to get his fourth ring. Vegas has NE as a 3.5-4 point favorite.
