NBC Sports has just posted their seventh edition of the Premier League power rankings and Liverpool took the biggest hit of any team. The Reds fell five slots to number eight; tumbling even more than Chelsea, who fell four spots.
I guess NBC overrated Liverpool at number three in the previous ranking.
Hey everyone got excited over the Jurgen Klopp hire. He has a magnetic personality. As Klopp continues to remake the team, expect them to rise, instead of fall, in the rankings going forward. NBC’s power rankings are definitely not just copying and pasting the table. Their listings are quite different from the standings. See the whole 20 here. Below you’ll find the LFC entry.
Liverpool: After losing to Newcastle, Liverpool was nearly beaten at home by West Brom if not for Divock Origi‘s 96th minute equalizer. Klopp’s men need a result against a red-hot Watford side if they want to stay in the top half of the table.
