Gunners star Aaron Ramsey expressed his desire to play for Barcelona once his days with Arsenal are through.
“Obviously it’s very flattering [links with Barcelona],” the star midfielder said in an ?interview with the Guardian. “They did the treble last year and it’s just really nice to be linked with one of the best clubs in the world. One day I would like to go over to Spain to play just to see what it’s like and to experience that.”
“But at the moment I’m with Arsenal and I feel like this Arsenal team can go and be successful and challenge for things.”
One of the best midfielders in England, Aaron Ramsey annually draws interest from some of the top clubs all over Europe. Given the public remarks he made today, don’t expect Ramsey to move to Barca (or Real Madrid for that matter) or anywhere any time soon. But down the line…who knows.

Mostly, it’s the usual jokes about how Arsenal has specialized in winning lesser trophies, but fizzling out in Champions League, as well as the Premier League title race. There’s also been plenty of quips about Arsenal’s preseason treble, and how the Community Shield doesn’t actually mean all that much. The last four winners of the trophy did not win the premiership.

Manchester United legend Roy Keane took a nasty swipe at Arsenal today, saying they’e more concerned with selfies than winning trophies (read the full quote here). Ramsey has already answered that critique.
“I think we’re more then capable of [winning the league] and I hope we can prove him wrong this season.”
