Real Madrid and former Manchester United striker Chicharito a.k.a. Javier Hernández is used to controversy. However, he’s not known for accidentally tweeting masturbatory remarks. That is exactly what happened today; all because he unfortunately omitted a simple little accent. That little typo was enough to completely change the context, and the message blew up all over social media.
The internet went nuts.
Chicharito tweeted: “Me toco solo en el cuarto” (I touch myself when alone in the bedroom), and tagged his recent international roommate Oswaldo Alanís in it. The lack of an accent on the word ‘tocó’ turned this innocent comment into one with serious sexual connotations.
Chicharito quickly corrected the original tweet to read “Me tocó solo en el cuarto” (I got a room to myself), but it was too late and the internet already ran with it. h/t MARCA.com (English version)
