Yet another anti-Anthony Davis, anti-Kentucky picture

anthony-davis-bert

Anthony Davis has answered questions about his unibrow all season long. And about being people making fun of him for it. He doesn’t shy away from it; he embraces it. The national player of the year and future #1 pick in the NBA draft isn’t changing himself for you, or the funny gifs and jpegs you make.

Or the ones below. Can you feel the Kentucky Wildcats hatred out there? It’s getting to be almost Duke like. Or New York Yankees like. Remember, every year UK wins the title, the Yankees win the World Series. Watch the World Series odds change significantly after Calipari cuts down the nets tonight.

Kentucky’s Anthony Davis, his unibrow, targetted by Florida Gator fans

anthony-davis

Kentucky’s Anthony Davis is a phenomenal college player who is on track to accomplish a rare grand slam: “national player of the year, national defensive player of the year, national freshman of the year, and the #1 pick in the NBA Draft. It’s a rare feat.

Davis has been incredible, The Chicago native from Charter Perspectives high school has more blocks than 300 teams. He has a handful of SEC and UK blocks records already, and he hasn’t even been there a year. Now that we’ve talked about what he has going for him, let’s talk about what he doesn’t.

Simply put, Davis is unfortunate looking; especially with that giant unibrow. He’s about fun to look at it, as he is to interview. And trust me, he is one terrible interview. But for more Davis bashing I turn to the Florida Gators student section, via Busted Coverage, who had a great time, at the expense of Davis’ Frida Kahlo type feature, and general unsightliness

Kentucky Wildcats Super-Recruit Posted a Quadruple Double

A year or so ago, Kentucky Wildcats recruit and  McDonald’s All-American Anthony Davis wasn’t on anyone’s short list of blue-chip college basketball prospects. But after growing seven inches in a year, he now finds himself the #2 overall recruit in the nation (Duke commit Austin Rivers is #1) today.

I caught up to him Tuesday night; right before he had the opportunity to meet Chicago Bulls superstar Derrick Rose, a McDonald’s All-American in 2007.

“I was 6′ 3,” then my junior year I was 6’5,” until this summer and now I’m 6’10,”” he said.

Kentucky and Duke lead all schools with four McDonald’s All-Americans in this class, and in the history of the designation, UK has scored the fourth highest number of McDonald’s All-Americans. All time, the state of Illinois has produced the 3rd most prospects of any state. Davis is a Chicago native who prepped at Perspectives Charter.

Davis was joined Tuesday night by Michigan State commit Branden Dawson and Louisville incoming freshman Wayne Blackshear.
