Word is that San Diego Chargers Coach Mike McCoy could get the sack once the team makes the two and a half hour move up the 405. CBS Sports’ Amy Trask, the former Oakland Raiders executive on Mike McCoy’s Future with San Diego Chargers:
“It is a win-loss issue. There are in-game strategy issues. I don’t know that there’s a perception that he doesn’t maximize talent, but he certainly isn’t doing that this year… But I don’t know that there’s a more injured team, top to bottom in the league. If the Chargers do slide up the road to Los Angeles from San Diego, as many people believe they will, there may be a view that the ownership wants to bring in some pizzazz, some sizzle.”
The woman nicknamed “The Princess of Darkness” by Raiders fans made these comments on CBS Sports “That Other Pregame Show.” Another report came out today, and it appears that the Bolts are indeed headed to Los Angeles. Which means Mike McCoy won’t be a part of it, according to Trask.
Right, so who will share the new stadium in Carson, California with the Chargers? Will it be the Rams or the Raiders? Former Rams Linebacker and current CBS Talking Head London Fletcher made a very emotional plea today to the people of St. Louis to not let a second team leave town. Read that here at this link.
The NFL moving back to Los Angeles is a story that we’ve followed closely and covered in detail. It appears inevitable that Angelenos will have at least one team, if not two, to call their own by 2017.
