To quote the famous Ronald Reagan campaign ad “it’s morning in America.” And this morning all of America’s die-hard NBA fans woke up to the announcement of a blockbuster NBA trade. The “Deron Williams deal,” is the huge deal everyone was expecting as the trade deadline approached, and it’s now a new morning in Deron Williams’ career.

The deal is done. Utah receives New Jersey Nets guard Devin Harris and Derrick Favors, who they selected with their lottery pick this season. The Jazz also get….

Carmelo Anthony FINALLY Traded to Knicks

The first NBA trade deadline domino fell late Monday evening when Carmelo Anthony was finally dealt to the Knicks in a three-team trade involving twelve players.  Thank goodness because I was getting LeBron-Decision-like sick of all the rumors, reports, and speculation flooding ESPN‘s airwaves.  After weighing his options of the Knicks, Nets, or possibly staying with the Nuggets, ‘Melo decided New York is where he wanted to be.  Here’s a breakdown of the deal.

Blockbuster NBA Trade CONFIRMED: Gilbert Arenas, Jason Richardson, Vince Carter, Rashard Lewis!

The NBA trade wind are blowing strong on this chilly winter day. Apparently, the Orlando Magic are looking to blow up their overpaid and underachieving roster.

The deals, which could come today, involve Jason Richardson from the Phoenix Suns, and possibly a new, fresh start for Gilbert Arenas and the Washington Wizards.

The Orlando Magic have traded Vince Carter, Mikael Pietrus, and Marcin Gortat to the Phoenix Suns for Jason Richardson, Hedo Turkoglu, and Earl Clark. The Magic have also traded Rashard Lewis to the Washington Wizards for Gilbert Arenas.

An Actual Four Team NBA Trade

Creating four team deals on ESPN’s trade machine is one of my favorite wasting time hobbies, but rarely do they actually occur in the NBA.  They are as common as characters smoking cigarettes on Mad Men. Okay, bad example.  However, the Hornets, Pacers, Nets, and Rockets have struck a four-team, five player deal that actually makes sense for each team.
