The Michigan Wolverines are hosting a watch party at Crisler Center on Monday, April 8, for the National Championship game between the Michigan Wolverines and the Louisville Cardinals. Crisler Center doors open to the public at 7:30 p.m. EDT for the national title game which tips at 9:23 p.m.
Admission is free for all students, faculty and staff.
All normal Michigan Wolverines game day activities will take place. The Big Ten Network will have live camera cutaways from the Crisler Center. So BTN might actually try doing news for once! OMG! STOP THE PRESSES! Where was the BTN when Joe Paterno was fired? Or when the Jerry Sandusky stuff broke? Or when the Freeh Report came out? At least they did live news when the sanctions were handed down on Penn State.
This is the sixth time that the Michigan Wolverines have played in the national championship game (1965, 1976, 1989, 1992, 1993 and 2013). The Michigan Wolverines claimed the 1989 NCAA National Title. And remember, like the Fab 5 documentary showed us, those Michigan Wolverines Final Four banners now are relegated to storage in the basement, as they’ve been vacated.
