VIDEO: John Oliver COMPLETELY OBLITERATES Roger Goodell

John Oliver is becoming the most important person on television. Straight news, or hard news providers are such a pathetic joke these days (The Missing Plane Network Anyone? How about some Faux News Channel? Is ripping MSNBC and it’s low ratings even worth it? They are toiling obscurity for a reason). Essentially, comedians are the true newsmen of the day and John Oliver is the best one.

Yes, a man from Birmingham, England understands the American psyche better than anyone.

Roger Goodell spoke about the NFL’s recent controversies. And he spoke badly.
The synergy with the tweets placed on screen is priceless

“Boo this man. [ghost emoji]”

“this press conference is pointless”

Where John Oliver really nailed it though is “clear eyes! full hearts! Can’t take my job! Fuck you. Fuck you”

Well done, John Oliver. Well done!

Obviously, the Ray Rice tape is what set this all off.  And led to Ray Lewis making such an unfortunate verbal gaffe. And you should see the irony of Ray Rice at Super Bowl 47 Media Day now. Today this video is loaded with dark unintentional comedy now. Which led to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell’s joke of a press conference; which was shredded by the ESPN pundits; called out by FOX’s Troy Aikman, and completely lit up by HBO’s John Oliver.
