Romelu Lukaku is currently a very hot topic in the sports world as the Everton striker is headed to Manchester United on a £85 million transfer deal. It’s been reported by several outlets that Lukaku will undergo his United medical in Los Angeles, where he is currently on holiday with friend and MUFC midfielder Paul Pogba, with whom he shares an agent, Mino Raiola.
Lukaku and Pogba rented out a L.A. apartment where the Belgian took this photo on Independence Day of himself with Pogba and Serge Ibaka of the NBA’s Toronto Raptors. Lukaku then posted this on his official Instagram account.
Happy 4th of July the caption reads, along with the flame and “keep it 100” (short for keep it 100% real) emojis. It has close to 50,000 “likes.” Pogba was supposedly a huge part of United’s recruiting effort to sign Lukaku, and the two friends now becoming teammates is certainly something they will no doubt want to celebrate while they are partying it up in L.A.
They will meet up with the rest of the team on Sunday, as United will arrive in southern California this weekend to begin training, and later their preseason exhibition tour in the USA.
