Pau Gasol rejects two Lakers offers, leaving L.A.

Pau Gasol Omer Asik

It looks almost certain that Pau Gasol is leaving the Los Angeles Lakers now. There’s only two questions left to be answered: where does he go next? And will it be a a sign and trade deal that leads Pau Gasol to his new NBA destination?

The Chicago Bulls will not get Carmelo Anthony or Chandler Parsons, so they have to go all in on Gasol now. And since they don’t have much cap room to work with, they’ll have to offload Carlos Boozer somehow to get Pau.

Pau Gasol, Chicago working to complete an agreement, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

UPDATE: Gasol was offered two deals before today per @mcten: two years, $23M and three years, $29M. He rejected both. https://t.co/O2xu5YofpL

Atlanta is supposedly jumping in on this one. While Oklahoma City is also going to be a player in the Pau Gasol sweepstakes.
