Larry Bird was one of the most versatile and entertaining basketball players of the 80s. He won three MVPs, three NBA titles, an Olympic Gold and was the first member of the 50/90/40 club. People said he could beat you without scoring because of his impressive defending skills. His shooting skills weren’t bad, either.
This 7’1″ player had the nicknames “The Stilt” and “Big Dipper” because of his dominance on the basketball court.
