Having flopped at Chelsea a couple years ago, Timo Werner is now moving back to the Premier League. RB Leipzig have now confirmed that they are in talks with “another club” to loan the German striker out for the rest of the season.
That would be another London club, this time it’s Tottenham Hotspur, according to multiple reports.

Timo Werner and his camp are currently finalizing a deal that will keep him in North London until the end of the season.
With Heung Min-Son out for the time being, due to South Korea duty in the Asian Cup (not to mention they never truly replaced Harry Kane after he left for Bayern Munich), Spurs definitely have a void to fill in the final third.
Looks like it’s going to be a front line of Richarlison, Brennan Johnson and Timo Werner, for the time being, going forward.

Werner moved back to Leipzig, on a fee of €20m in August of 2022, after having spent two very subpar seasons in southwest London. During his time at Stamford Bridge, he scored only 23 goals in 89 games.
