Tottenham Hotspur have not lost in the calendar year of 2018, and the last team to beat them was….yep, you guessed it, Manchester City. Spurs welcome the Premier League Champions in waiting to Wembley Stadium tomorrow night looking to avenge their disastrous 4-1 loss at their house the last time the two sides met.
It’s an all time series that is about as evenly matched as anyone could expect- Spurs have won 60, City have taken 59. The two clubs have also battled to 35 draws. City had the chance to clinch the title last weekend, but failed, as they lost the Manchester Derby 3-2. They now need two more wins to hoist the trophy.
Here’s the team we’re predicting Mauricio Pochettino to field, with the ambition of delaying City’s celebration even further.
Attack: Son, Harry Kane Dele Alli
Centre-midfield: Moussa Dembele, Eric Dier, Christian Eriksen
Back line: Ben Davies, Davinson Sanchez, Jan Vertonghen, Serge Aurier
Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris
